The number one new year’s resolution is better health and it can be achieved by losing weight, eating better, cutting down on alcohol and junk food, and regular exercising. The key is to focus on one thing at a time, until it’s a manageable part of your week, and increase very slowly.
I recommend getting a baseline measurement of your body composition right away. Using a BIA (bioimpedance analysis) machine, I can determine your hydration status, fat mass, and muscle mass. You should also take your WHR (waist to hip ratio), as a measure of health. We provide BIA’s for current patients, or you can come to the office and have it done for a small fee.
